Oregon Weather
I was talking to my brilliant niece the other day(she is 16) and she was telling me that our Oregon cold summer has to do with the tsunami that Japan had this last winter.
She said " it was so powerful it tipped the earths axis and through off our seasons"
Wow! I never gave that any thought at all. Makes sense to me though. Its amazing what these natural disasters can do.
We are now going into August 2011 and we are feeling some 80 degree days. Chilly mornings and evenings still. July was lets just say "comfortable" which is OK with me but not like what we have had for many years now. This summer feels like when we were kids, Oregon was always comfortable in the summer, not stifling like some other states.
Oh well, I will just take in the coolness and be thankful we aren't stuck inside all day because it's to hot to go out!
